| IN MEMORY OF LATE SHREE NARENDRABHAI ODHAVJI DAVADRA |
Pervinben Davadra organised a bhajan programme on 29 December 2007 in memory of her husband, Narendrabhai. The bhajans were held at a church hall in West Wickham where Pervinben’s family members and all the Davadra family members, close friends and the committee members & trustees of VCSL were present. |

| DIWALI CELEBRATION |
On arrival of our bandhus to celebrate not only the Diwali festival but also our 15th Anniversary on Saturday, 17th November 2007, at the main hall of The Archbishop Lanfranc School in Croydon, two of our senior founding members, Shree Purshottambhai Jethwa and Shree Umedbhai Vaghela, welcomed and led them to the dining area where delicious hot meal was served by our ever-cheerful volunteers..... |

| NAVRATRI FESTIVAL 2007 |
Whilst most of our other sister organisations were celebrating Navratri for 9 days, we decided to celebrate on two Fridays and Saturdays, i.e. on 12th and 13th October and then on 19th and 20th October. The committee decided to take a chance to hire a karaoke singer, instead of a group of musicians |

| HANUMAN CHAALISA PROGRAMME 2007 |
There couldn’t have been a better way to start celebrations on the completion of 15 years of The Vanza Community of South London than to have a special programme where Hanuman Chaalisa was chanted 108 times. This took place on 30 September 2007 in the main hall of the Archbishop Lanfranc School where the chanting started at 10.00am and finished at 4.30pm. |
