VCSL is grateful to all the sponsors as well as the donors for their generosity. Many thanks to all our committee members and the volunteers for their assistance during the preparation as well as on the celebration days of this festival.
We also organised the Raas-Garba and Dandia-Raas competition on both the days and were delighted to giving away pair of Divas to the winners. Coincidently, Gandhi Jayanti fell on Sunday and hence those present on the day briefly celebrated Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday by keenly listening to his favourite bhajan.
The venue and the provider of the music (Redcap Family) remained the same as last year for the celebrations of the Navratri festival of 2011 that was held for two days: on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October. The festive was enjoyed by all who attended. As always, we concluded the celebrations with a delicious 'naashta-paani' on Sunday evening.
