Most of us are aware of the professions of doctors, dentists, accountants and engineers but many may have not heard of actuaries. Actuaries are members of two professional chartered organisations formed by Royal Assent. If you come to know of the work Actuaries do, you will be impressed. Basically, their work involves providing commercial and financial advice and apply financial and statistical techniques to solve real business problems. We believe there are very few Actuaries in the world.
It is a tough profession with extremely difficult and cumbersome examinations which fall into 4 stages with at least 15 subjects to pass, over a given period of time. After working hard to get through all the subjects and qualify as an Actuary, one has to conclude that the candidate deserves blessings from all of us.
One such young hard working Vanza has recently qualified as an Actuary. Venay Jethwa, son of Preetiben and Manulal Raghavji Jethwa, one of VCSL’s trustees, successfully completed the examination requirements for the qualification of the Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries in July 2009. He is one of the Pride of Vanzas who is congratulated by his parents, his elder brother Amit and his sister Priya. All their relatives and friends share the joy and happiness that is enjoyed by the Jethwa family, at present.
We, at VCSL, are very proud of him and take this opportunity of congratulating Venay for his educational success and wish him a prosperous future. May Hingraj Maa and Guru Gopal Lalji bless him with happiness. |
