KUMON MATHS AWARD TO A YOUNG VANZA

Arti VaghelaThose who are unaware, the main aim of learning Kumon Maths is to make the study of secondary school maths easier. It develops total fluency in arithmetic, mastery in basic algebra and improves skills in concentration, independent study and perseverance.

The younger daughter of Bipinbhai Umed Vaghela, Aarti, put her mind to study Kumon Maths with perseverance. In no time she made such a tremendous progress that, at the age of 15, she was awarded the 2008 High-Level Students Award at the prestigious Kensington Conference and Events Centre held for the London South Office Region, in the Kumon 50th Anniversary year. This event was held in celebrating and acknowledging the significant achievements by the students who reached the higher level of the maths.

Aarti says “What I enjoy most about Kumon is the fact that I can control the pace and amount of my own work. This has also given me more self-motivation since work is not being forced upon me”. She adds, “Becoming better in maths has allowed me to think more clearly, pay attention to detail, manipulate precise and intricate ideas and tackle problems with confidence.”

Very well spoken with confidence! Aarti’s instructor said, “She enrolled on level 3A at the age of 7 and completed level L achieving a 100% score in July 2008. Aarti has developed into well-rounded confident individual with outstanding qualities such as perseverance and self-reliance.”

We are informed that Aarti is now an assistant in the centre, helping other higher level students venture into the unknown with an open mind. The VCSL congratulates Aarti for her success and wishes her more success in assisting others in the similar field.
