| Mrs Sadhnaben Madhusoodan Divecha |

 After recent confirmation, with deepest regret we have to inform our Vanza bandhus of the sudden death of Sadhnaben, wife of Shree Madhusoodanbhai Divecha. After a massive heart attack, Sadhnaben fought for her life but in vain. She passed away peacefully on Saturday 26 July 2008 in a south London hospital where her husband and other close relatives were present at her bed-side. She was 69 years of age.
Late Sadhnaben was born on 9 December 1938 in Diu, India, and after her marriage she travelled with her husband whenever & wherever he was posted abroad as the manager of a well known Indian bank, until 1982 when she and her husband settled in the UK.
Late Sadhnaben Madhusoodan Divecha was a loyal member of our community and she stood as the first lady when Madhusoodanbhai was the president of our sister organisation, The Vanza Society of London.
Late Sadhnaben’s presence & support at the VCSL’s programmes in mid-90s was also greatly appreciated.

 Taraben Tank, wife of late Mr Damjibhai Vasram Tank, after a long illness, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 in Croydon, Surrey, in the afternoon of Thursday 10 July 2008. May Hingraj Maa bless her soul.
Late Mrs Taraben Damjibhai Tank was born on 15 June 1924 in Karachi, Hindustan, lived most of her married life in Mombasa, Kenya and arrived in the UK with her husband and children in 1967, settling in Croydon. She leaves behind two sons, two daughters, nine grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

 On Wednesday 9 July 2008, Sailesh, younger son of Kishorbhai Kalyanji Bharakhada & Pratimaben Kishorbhai Bharakhada of Slough, sadly passed away after a car accident on Monday 7 July 2008. He was 23 years of age.
May Hingraj Maa bless his soul. On this tragic death, VCSL conveys its condolences and deepest sympathy to the bereaved families.
Sailesh was younger brother of Nilesh and a grandson of late Chanduben & late Kalyanjibhai Bhovan Bharakhada and Lilaben & Purshottambhai Arjan Jethwa (a trustee of VCSL).

We were informed by Jyotsnaben Ramesh Bhadressa (wife of our trustee Rameshbhai B Bhadressa) on 3 July 2008 that her mother, Mrs Jayaben Devshi Chudasama, sadly passed away recently in Rajkot at the age of 89. She lived in Rajkot since 1968, moving from Nairobi, Kenya. Late Mrs Jayaben leaves behind four sons, four daughters and grandchildren. May Hingraj Maa bless her soul.

Bachubhai ( real name: Govindbhai ) Devji Vasram Parmar of PARAS ELECTRICALS sadly passed away at the age of 66 on Friday, 13th June 2008, in Porbander, India.
This information was given to us by Babulalbhai and his brother Narshibhai, sons of Valji Vasram Parmar of Nairobi, who are related (first cousins) to the late Bachubhai.
